Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology
Carlos Rizo-Patron, M.D., FACC founded Cardiac Arrhythmia Services in 2002. He received his medical degree from the Universidad Peruana Cayetano Heredia in Peru where he also completed a rotary internship. He then served as Captain at the Police Hospital in Lima, Peru. He completed his internship and residency training in internal medicine at Jackson Memorial Hospital at the University of Miami in Florida. Dr. Rizo-Patron completed his cardiology fellowship, interventional cardiology fellowship, and a cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at the Texas Heart Institute at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas. He then completed a second fellowship in cardiac electrophysiology at the Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Cardiovascular Diseases, and the American Board of Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology.
