Biography

Joseph A. Rizzo, M.D., FA, is a practicing cardiologist with the Cardiologists of Lubbock. He received his medical degree from the New York Medical College in Valhalla, New York. He completed his internship in internal medicine at the New York Medical College in Bronx, New York, and his residency training in internal medicine at State University of New York in Stony Brook, New York. He completed a fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at New York Medical College Lincoln Hospital and Medical Center in Bronx, New York and at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, New York. Dr. Rizzo is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine in internal medicine, cardiovascular diseases, and interventional cardiology.
