Lubbock Heart Hospital is a physician owned hospital that opened its doors in December of 2003 as the region’s premier heart hospital focused upon the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular disease. Lubbock Heart Hospital is a technologically advanced, world-class cardiovascular facility dedicated to providing cost-effective, quality-centered patient care through a physician-driven organization. Patient care is a hallmark at Lubbock Heart Hospital.

Lubbock Heart Hospital is a 74-bed licensed facility, which includes sixteen cardiac coronary care beds. All patient rooms are private and equipped with the latest technology to meet the special needs of cardiovascular patients. The comprehensive services at Lubbock Heart Hospital encompass:

  • Eight-Bed Post Anesthesia Care Unit
  • Four Heart Surgical Suites
  • Four Catheterization Laboratories
  • Electrophysiology Laboratory
  • Pharmacy and Laboratory
  • Diagnostic Imaging Center
  • 24/7 Full-Service Emergency Department

Lubbock Heart Hospital provides a specially designed and equipped emergency department aimed at the treatment of cardiovascular emergencies. Our care teams are also trained to treat acute emergencies in the event of injury or family illness, 24 hours a day, seven days a week. There is also a heli-pad located north of the ER to accommodate air traffic emergencies and transfers.

The foregoing amenities are a testament to an organization committed to fighting the leading cause of death in the U.S. With a projected 900 surgeries and over 5200 cardiac catheterizations, Lubbock Heart Hospital is focused on the fight.
